Wedding Pictures



















When we get the link to our wedding pictures, we will edit this post. For now, thanks to Don and Roberta, here are some photos from the event. I will try to combine all the photos in to one Picasa album eventually but for now, here are the individual links. We hope you enjoy flipping through them as much as we did!

Biscotti Recipe

As promised on our favors, here is the recipe for the home made biscotti care of our maid of honor Sarah Liza and Danny Meyer:

Biscotti recipe

Ingredients:
2 3/4 all purpose flour
1 1/3 cups plus 1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup almonds (chopped or slivered)
2 tablespoons cornmeal
1 1/2 Tablespoons whole anise seed
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons of unsalted butter at room temperature
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 egg white lightly beaten

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F
2. Combine the flour, sugar, almonds, cornmeal, anise seed, baking
powder, and salt in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.
3. Add the butter and continue mixing at a low speed.
4. Mix in the eggs, vanilla, until a soft dough is formed.
5. Divide the dough in half and form it into 2 logs, each 14" x 5"
inches. Place the logs on the cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Lightly beat the eggs and brush on the logs and sprinkle with a
tablespoon of sugar.
6. Bake for 30 minutes.
7. Cool to room temperature.
8. When the logs are cool enough to handle, cut them and 1/4" strips.
Lower the oven to 325 F and bake for about 15.
